Based on the app being used for the asset, policies are determined by the applications provider. Any fees, terms and conditions of the rental are generally controlled by the app with some stipulations given by Treadwake LLC as the owner of the asset. Always read the terms and conditions of each rental carefully before making a reservation. Treadwake is obligated and wants to respond to every customer with favorable results.

Yes, Treadwake LLC customers may drop the vehicle at the origination point or make contact via call/text/email to determine a drop location if available. Contact us to make arrangements so that we may locate the asset and let's work together to keep the experience pleasant.

Treadwake LLC strives to offer flexible hours at every location local to the pickup origination point. Still, rental car return hours do vary depending on the location. If you’d like to return a car on a Sunday as per the reservation originally set, yes Sunday's are acceptable. Check with us directly via call/text/email for changes or modifications.

Any alterations to your initial rental car reservation could result in a different or higher rental rate. It’s best to call/text/email us to ask about options. 

Most rental car reservations are based on a daily, 24-hour rate. If a rental car is returned beyond the 24-hour period, the renter will be charged an additional hourly rate. Make sure to return your vehicle on time to avoid extra fees. Be a good communicator and there may be options to avoid being charged additional fees. We will work with customers to determine the best course of action.

The renter of the vehicle is held responsible for any damage to a rental car, including theft, vandalism, natural disaster, and more.

If your rental car is damaged, always make sure to contact the police right away. If not renting from Treadwake direct (often will be the case) Then complete the following steps:

• Complete an incident report if required by the app-provider (example Turo, Getaround, Airbnb)
• Contact the app-provider for Road Side Assistance options (Call 911 if a major emergency)
• Call your personal auto insurance company to create a claim if insurance isn't selected by the app provider
• Check with your credit card company to see if their collision or other available program that may offer coverage
• Always read the terms and condition for rentals in the app-space, it's important to know your rights as a renter

There are many types of incidences that are considered rental car damage, including but not limited to: 

• Collision
• Rollover
• Theft
• Tire damage
• Vandalism
• Damage from Wreckless Driving or Boating
• Racing activities on a track or other surfaces
• Damage resulting in the need for medical attention
• Flood/Sinking
• Fire
• Hail
• Other natural disasters
• Smoking in the vehicle is a form of damage and we'll seek compensation for deep cleaning services
